For over 28 years, Lyn has represented both individuals and corporations in a broad range of civil matters, including personal injury, products liability, premises liability, medical malpractice, contracts, and property disputes in Georgia and Mississippi.
Following a 1998 clerkship with the appellate courts in Mississippi, Lyn began her legal career as a defense attorney representing corporations, banks, and insurance companies in civil litigation. Her defense practice included products liability, personal injury, banking matters, and toxic tort litigation.
In 2007, Lyn joined a plaintiffs’ practice in Atlanta, where she represented individuals and families in cases involving medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, trucking and automobile accidents, products liability, premises liability, and other negligent and intentional acts. In 2023, she returned to defense practice, representing corporations, insurance companies, and their insureds in matters throughout Georgia.
In 2026, after more than 25 years of litigation experience, Lyn left the practice of law to devote her full-time professional practice to mediation. Having advocated for both plaintiffs and defendants throughout her career, she brings a balanced and informed perspective to her work as a neutral. She understands the challenges and considerations faced by all parties in litigation and draws upon that experience to help litigants assess their cases, navigate difficult issues, and work toward resolution.
Lyn has been recognized by Georgia Super Lawyers as one of the Top 50 Women Attorneys in Georgia and by Georgia Trend as a Legal Elite. She is also rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell.
Lyn has been mediating cases in Georgia since 2016 and now focuses exclusively on serving as a mediator.
Lyn joined Henning Mediation's Panel of Neutrals in 2023 and is available for mediation. Sessions may be conducted in-person at Henning's Atlanta office or via secure video conferencing.
What attorneys are saying
Lyn did a wonderful job with this difficult mediation and offered creative insight to our client. While we did not settle this case at mediation, we settled for the same amount on the following day.
