Henning Mediation has always been a family-run business. Ed Henning started Henning Mediation & Arbitration Service in 1996 after seeing an increased demand for mediation in Georgia. Ed pioneered the art of collective mediation, establishing a model that inspires organizations even today.

We handle a wide variety of cases ranging from a simple premises liability complaint to complex, multi-party disputes. Our neutrals are attorneys and retired judges that specialize in all diverse areas of law. Their firsthand knowledge and experience allows us to settle over 75% of the cases heard at our facility. This "drive to settle" helps our clients reduce the cost of litigation and often times that unpleasant experience of a trial.

While our business has grown in the past 25+ years, we remain true to our humble Henning roots and family traditions. In the early years, Helen Henning would bake cheese biscuits for clients every morning. Today, your clients arrive at our office greeted by the aroma of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies.

It’s the sort of touch that brings comfort to often-prickly situations, a familiarity to the unknown of mediation processes. Because it’s our goal to make you and your client feel at ease – and taken care of – from initial conversations to the final paperwork.

As the original pioneers in collective mediation, we have learned a lot about how to create an environment to support our clients in achieving successful resolutions. You will see this knowledge come to life in what we refer to as “Henning Hospitality!”

Our hospitality begins before you walk in the door, with a centrally located office and easily accessible parking.

When you enter our office, you will be greeted by one of our friendly and knowledgeable staff members who will gladly escort you to your private conference room. Our state-of-the-art facilities include plug and play technology, to include WIFI, televisions with access to Hulu and Netflix, and computers. If you need to print a document, simply email it and we will hand-deliver copies to your conference room. In addition, we offer snacks, beverages and catered lunches to keep your energy up throughout the process. Our goal is to create a calm and relaxing experience for all involved.
